Just saying Hi to 2018

Just wanted to check in and Say Hi to 2018.

Here is a Sculpture that we did for the City of Emeryville this past year.

"Evanescent greeting"

You obviously know that term from Marcel Proust's "Sodom and Gomorrah" we chose it because its on the site of an old "massage parlor" and also as you cross the city limits in a car all the cubes align to say "HI" .....Everything is so damn fleeting now days. Anyway its new DRIVE BY ART! Get in your car or tell UBER or learn to drive and check it out. Oh I almost forgot.... its stainless and if you need something in stainless whether its art for your home or office, some stairs or whatever, we can help you out... give us a ring. But, do it sooner than you think you need to because lead times nowadays are just silly right now. Now doesn't that just bring 2017 to a nice happy ending!

HOT! rolled steel

It seems to be all the rage...Hot rolled steel is naturally beautiful. It has blemishes and variations just like wood. With a clear satin finish to protect it from rust, and some simple maintenance it will last a life time. Above we covered an entire wall with sheets and used stainless fasteners to attach it to the wall. Add some shelves for "stuff" and you are set. We can cover your walls... you supply the "stuff".

No Starch just rail

New Railings for No Starch Press's new digs in SF... I guess we went literal..heh.. puns. Lowest form of comedy. Oh well...What can we say we do steel, not stand up. Calls us we can do things for you.

Bronze and Lace and a Cubby to boot!

Lacewood Headboard with bronze tubing make this head board glow. There's a little cubby hole for the things you need. This one is going into the Sunset Magazine's Monterey Idea house. So since it's the girls room we put some toys in it... YOU on the other hand can put whatever you want in it. Wether it be a late night snack, your specs, a clock or all the essentials for that special night with your boo.....(I'm not really sure what the hell that means but.. use your imagination.) Anyway Australain Silky Oak Wood or Lacewood is some amazing stuff wonderful detail just like your grandmothers lace under the hard candy jar. The bronze tubing was patinaed and hand polished to get a rich finish with depth. Go see it at their open house this September. Oh of course you can buy it for someone you love. Go on .... love yourself.

Stencil Art

Just dropped off the table for Sunset Magazine... Should be a good show/house/tour thingy. Crazy art all over the walls...I'll check on who they got to populate the walls but I hear it some company from SF that buys at estates so they have a lot of cool retro paintings and prints all over the walls...I'll post the name of the staging co. later, as soon as I re-remember.....maybe dont use that during scrabble either.. Anyway this is our new tag. It was supposed to say "custom 2008" also.. but.. the ladies need their table...so next time... all furniture moving through get hit...signed and number...
