Art Work and glass railings...

Looks like the only thing in a frame here is the glass railing.... so we had to make it nice.. cantilevered metal frame holds the top edge of this tempered glass railing. The bottom of the glass was drilled so we could bolt through the glass and into the floor joists...with custom hot rolled spacers to match the railing...call us.. we would be happy to be apart of your collection too...

A room without a book...

A room without a book is like a body without a soul... Marcus Tullius Cicero is credited with this quote, and to make sure this room had enough soul we added a floor to ceiling bookcase in this San Francisco Victorian. We used hot rolled steel with a clear satin finish and solid oak shelving and kept it clean and simple... Of course in order to reach all those books you have to add a ladder...we did that too... need some soul? Give us a call.

My New Years Resolution

Is to not ruin the view....Stainless wire rails... I mean you bought the View don't ruin it with a railing... We can help out.

Hot Brackets

Well Hot Rolled anyway.... everyone is in love with hot rolled steel, the problem is nobody does a nice hot rolled bracket.. until now... We are just in the process of doing several prototypes and finishes for some handrail brackets you can demand for your own home or project. Perfect for that hot rolled hand rail next to the beautiful hot rolled fire place or guardrail down your stair.... The raw steel coated with a low VOC clear satin and topped of with bees wax is the perfect detail for you green home. You know you love it...

Ooops we did it again

Ooops we did it again... look at the sexy detailing of a new table we will be showing off at the new Sunset Magazine 's Menlo park Idea house. Bamboo Plywood top with aluminum tubing frame. Clear Anodized finish. Yes... yes, you can buy it. There will be a staging sale... or you can order your own custom size. More pictures to follow once the aluminum gets back from the anodizer...

Connection Porn

It's just sexy....Modular bolt together railing system. Spacer connectors are counter bored so they are flush. The wire railing system has no exposed turnbuckles. Turnbuckles are for suckers. The end pieces of the wire system have internal threads to seamlessly and turnbucklelessly add tension to the wire. (you can impress your friends by using that term....just don't use it in scrabble) Just remember kids, connection details are sexy.
